A current, modern reinterpretation of the classic rice paper lamp The Puff lamp collection offers a modern, sculptural take on the traditional rice paper lamp, thanks to a design based on simple, organic lines. Puff lights pay homage to one of Asia's oldest traditions: rice paper lampshades have been used for centuries and originally decorated temples. The Puff collection was inspired by a trip to Japan, where designer Saskia Huebner saw countless variations of the rice paper lamp. She then focused on finding the right balance between playful sculpturality and functional minimalism, to end up with a collection that invites us to have fun around associations of different voluminous shapes. Puff lamps will find their place in the lobby of a hotel or in a restaurant, as well as in a private interior. Volume and lightness Rice paper lets you create an impressive volume, without superfluous material, to avoid a product that’s too bulky or heavy. By delicately concealing the light source, it provides natural, warm, subdued light. In this way, Puff lamps pleasantly light up the room while showing off their sculptural organic forms. Inflated balloons The combination of design and this lightweight material evokes inflated balloons, available in four different shapes and sizes, each light taking its name from its particular shape. Multitude consists, as its name suggests, of several lengthwise-intertwined spheres, making it the ideal lamp to dress up a small space and turn it into a cosy corner. The Puff collection will find its place in all interiors, whatever the space available, in minimalist interiors as well as in more daring commercial or private spaces.
