Description

Unique in colour, and luxurious in texture, our velvet seat pads are crafted from a cotton velvet mix, adding a sumptuous layer of comfort to wooden, rattan or metal chairs.

Our Stylist Says

I love the deep, rich tone of this blue seat pad for adding a touch of elegance to both traditional and contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in spaces that feature classic wooden furniture or a neutral colour palette, providing a vibrant contrast that feels sophisticated rather than overdone. For styling tips, layer it on vintage armchairs or mixed-up industrial furniture to create added comfort and visual interest. Practicality-wise, its velvet fabric not only looks luxe but is also easy to clean, making it ideal for everyday use. Pairing it with cushions in complementary shades like blush or mustard can help create a cohesive look, while keeping the seat pad itself as the statement piece.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
