"A design icon for your terraces and gardens! The "Projecteur" lamp was designed by Le Corbusier in 1954. This IP54 version is suitable for outdoor use. A genius architect and designer, Le Corbusier designed the Sanskar Kendra Museum in the Indian city of Ahmedabad, between 1951 and 1957. This spiral-shaped construction illustrates the architectural principles of the French master. Le Corbusier even designed the lamps in the museum. In 1954, he created the “Projecteur 365” which he had installed in the building to optimise the lighting. Reissued by Nemo, this wall light is a symbol of 1950s modernism. Inspired by the industrial lighting of the time, it consists of a diffuser in the shape of an aluminium projector, fixed to a circular base. The lampshade is adjustable to illuminate the space according to your needs with precision. Inspired by the industrial lighting of the time, it consists of a diffuser in the shape of a painted aluminium projector. The internal diffuser is made of opaline glass. ".
I love the Projecteur 365 outdoor wall light for its timeless Scandinavian design that balances form and function effortlessly. Its clean, geometric silhouette makes it versatile enough to suit both modern minimalist interiors and more industrial, loft-style spaces. This piece works particularly well in exterior settings like garden walls, patios, or entryways, where it can serve as an eye-catching feature with practical lighting. For styling, consider pairing it with natural materials like timber or stone to highlight its historic roots, and keep the colour palette neutral to emphasise its sleek, understated aesthetic. Whether used as a statement piece or subtle accent, its retro-modern appeal ensures it remains relevant across a variety of design schemes.
