Description

Expertly designed by Le Corbusier for Nemo, the Projecteur 165 Pendant Light was inspired by the industrial features of Marseilles housing. Commissioned for India’s Chandigarh High Court in 1954, the ruggedly nautical lamp is crafted using painted aluminium and finished with a sandblasted glass diffuser for a warm pool of illumination. Its industrial aesthetic is completed with the statement pivoting screws that fasten the diffuser into place. Founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina, Italian powerhouse Nemo is at the forefront of cutting-edge lighting design. Through profound research and partnership with the Le Corbusier Foundation, this light has been reissued by Nemo as part of an effort to revive iconic lighting from the 20th century. Requires 1x max. 23W E27 bulb (not included).

Our Stylist Says

I love the Projecteur 165 in Mocha for its versatile, modern design and neutral tone, which makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial spaces, adding a subtle colour accent without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include grouping a few over a kitchen island or dining area to create focused task lighting, or hanging one in a corner to introduce warmth and visual interest. Its adjustable head and sleek silhouette make it a functional yet stylish choice, especially if you're aiming for a streamlined look with a touch of character.
