Originally created in 1929, this joyful textile design – printed in the UK – captures the after-glow of summer's radiance. A beautiful example of an Art Deco floral, the bold poppies have an angular stylised quality to them. Poppies are seeped in ancient mythology, as far back as the Egyptian pharaohs, and were found in tombs in the Valley of Kings.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
