In 1957, when the US Embassy in Paris was in search of an extraordinary wedding gift for the union of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, they entrusted Reeds embroidery factory in Madeira with the task. The result was a remarkable tablecloth design, masterfully crafted with organdy and linen appliqus, under the creative guidance of artist Max Klein. Today, this timeless design continues to be produced, and Karen Reed drew inspiration from our embroidery archives to reimagine it as a lavish jacquard pillowcase.. Luxury pure cotton bed linen available in five beautifully dyed shades. Cotton warp yarns and 100 linen weft threads. Matching textured towels are now also available. Available in a variety of sizes, including super king and emperor. Fitted sheets have a 25cm deep pocket to accommodate deep mattresses and mattress toppers.
I love the Princess Grace Oxford Pillowcase Pair for its classic, clean aesthetic and luxurious feel, making it a versatile addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Its crisp white colour pairs effortlessly with coloured or patterned bedding, allowing for easy layering and styling. To get the most from these pillowcases, consider pairing them with textured bed throws or subtle, patterned duvet covers to add visual interest without overwhelming the overall look. They work particularly well in minimalist, elegant schemes or more eclectic spaces when you want to elevate the overall sleep aesthetic. Practical tips include using them to create a hotel-inspired look, with crisp, well-pressed linen, or mixing with other whites and neutrals for a soothing, restful vibe.
