Description

Modern and comfortable, the Pretzel Armchair by Desser is a stylish addition to any household. Different from the traditional indoor cane and rattan furniture, the Pretzel Armchair is available in the contemporary Tropical fabric and fits in with the rest of the Pretzel range impeccably or would look equally as great as a standalone piece. Not only is this a beautiful piece of furniture, but it is also a natural, hand-crafted, ethical product, manufactured from sustainably farmed materials. The Pretzel collection is ideal if you're searching for a new, stylish, and contemporary chair or want to give your conservatory, kitchen area, summer house, or even living room, a real sense of modern elegance. The set includes an armchair and a soft, foam-filled seat cushion with a supportive fibre-filled back cushion that is Dacron wrapped for longevity as well as a comfortable plump finish.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the pretzel cane armchair for its light, sculptural frame and warm rattan tone - it slips effortlessly into coastal, Scandi-inspired or boho schemes without overwhelming the space. Its low, open profile makes it ideal for a conservatory, living room nook or even a bedroom seating corner, bringing in an organic touch and plenty of visual airiness. To style, layer a soft linen or cotton cushion in a muted print and drape a cosy wool or cotton throw over one arm. Anchor the setting with a natural-fibre rug (think jute or sisal) and a simple side table in oak or brass for contrast. Add a cluster of potted greenery nearby to echo the chair’s neutral palette and keep the look fresh and inviting.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
