Description

This distinctive plant earned its name because of the way its leaves fold together at night, almost like hands closed together in prayer. Instantly recognisable for its stunning green leaves with red veins and beautiful, contrasting pink undersides. The Prayer Plant is a member of the Calathea family, but it’s incredibly easy to care for. Paired with a hand-finished, perfectly-fitting coloured earthenware pot. Please note: As this is a living product your plant may vary to the one photographed. Plant height measurement includes the pot. Width measurement is for the width of the pot only; width of the plant may vary. Please note, unfortunately we cannot deliver this item to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.

Our Stylist Says

I love this faux prayer house plant for adding greenery without the upkeep, making it ideal for busy or low-light spaces. Its dark grey earthenware pot lends a modern, earthy aesthetic that pairs well with contemporary, minimalist, or even industrial interiors. It works particularly well grouped with other greenery or in a clean, uncluttered setting to make the plant a focal point. Practical styling tips include placing it on sideboards, shelves, or desks to introduce a natural element. To elevate it further, consider pairing it with warm lighting or contrasting textures, like wooden or metallic accents, to create a balanced, inviting look.
