Description

Mid-Century Nursery Collection combines timeless style with durable craftsmanship. This wooden cot converts into a toddler bed with the guard rail conversion kit, sold separately. Expertly crafted of solid sap gum wood and MDF Mattress platform is crafted of metal and has two height options to accommodate your growing baby Platform can be adjusted to the following heights: 25cm, 44cm All wood is kiln-dried, a process that ensures that the furniture will never split, warp, crack or mildew Finish is applied in a multi-step process using child-safe, water-based paint. The paint provides durability, richness and depth of colour to each piece Due to the nature of the natural wood, the finish may vary, and no two pieces will be exactly alike Parents should ensure a safe environment for the child by checking regularly to see that every component is properly fastened and securely in place Do not over tighten fasteners, as this may cause distortion or breakage This cot may be used until your child can easily climb out or is taller than 35 inches (89cm) We do not recommend the use of chemical cleansers, abrasives or furniture polish GREENGUARD Gold Certified to contribute to healthier indoor air, keeping you and your family safer All Pottery Barn kids products are tested at third-party CPSC-accredited labs to meet or exceed all industry voluntary and regulatory safety requirements.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Pottery Barn Kids Mid Century Wood Convertible Cot for its sleek, minimalist design and timeless appeal. Its warm acorn wood tone works beautifully in both modern and Scandi-influenced interiors, adding warmth without overwhelming the space. Because it’s convertible, it offers great practicality as it can grow with your child, making it a long-term investment. When styling around it, opt for neutral, textured bedding to enhance its natural wood finish or add colourful accents that can be easily swapped out as tastes evolve. Positioning it in a calm corner or nursery with open shelves and soft lighting will create a cosy, functional environment that’s both stylish and practical for everyday use.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
