Description
Inspired by brutalism, the Post coffee table offers a set of imposing, balanced volumes. It displays generous, simple, solid lines, embellished with expressive marquetry details. The thick top sits above three broad cylindrical legs that resemble sturdy wooden logs. The Post coffee table is a very contemporary interpretation of the traditional technique of marquetry. It’s made entirely of FSC-certified smoked oak veneer on an MDF core. The legs have a hand-made marquetry decoration, made of a collage of wood in two different colours (smoked oak and black). This geometric, contrasting striped pattern has a strong character. The Post table is the result of a search for balance between graphics, materials and a passion for craftsmanship.
