Our Stylist Says
The Porto solid wood headboard is a versatile piece that brings a natural, warm touch to various bedroom styles. Its light oak finish works especially well in Scandi-inspired interiors, where neutral tones and minimalism are key, but it can also blend seamlessly into more rustic or contemporary settings. I love pairing it with soft, textured bedding and a mix of earthy-toned cushions to create a cosy, inviting look. Practical styling tips include keeping accessories on the bedside table simple to let the wood’s natural beauty shine, and adding subtle lighting to enhance the warmth of the finish. This headboard’s neutral colour makes it a great long-term investment, ensuring it complements evolving decor schemes over time.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
