Stanley pieces are available in a range of styles and shapes and are available for custom ordering. They are characterised by a hand beaten texture and conical hammered feet. I’m a fan of the bronzed demi-lune console for its clean half-moon top and slender metal frame - it’s narrow enough for a hallway yet substantial enough for a living room. The aged bronze finish works equally well in industrial, contemporary or eclectic schemes, and its pared-back silhouette means it won’t overcrowd a smaller space.
Styling tip: pair it with a round mirror to echo the curve, add a low-profile lamp and a trio of objects in varying heights (think a small plant, a stack of coffee-table books and a sculptural ceramic). Keep the floor underneath clear to show off the legs and maintain an airy feel.
