Description
Tord Boontje’s original vision was to recreate the incredible shapes and shadows of sunlight shining through a tree canopy. To make this a reality, he designed sprawling lengths of ivy that twist their way through a flowing central frame, resembling a piece of naturalistic sculpture. A feat of technical production; where engineered spinnings meet hand formed laser cuttings to adversely create something soft and delicate. When lit, the decorative ivy comes to life and produces dancing shadows around the room. Many Porta Romana pieces are fully customisable.
