Description
This beautifully sculpted armchair demonstrates the meticulous craftsmanship of Italy. Designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for Porada, the pair have designed a piece using only the highest quality materials which come together exquisitely. The base is formed from canaletta walnut with a Cuoietta leather back which curves around the back cushion. The cushions are upholstered in a durable yet soft fabric which wraps around foam for a deep, comfortable sit. The cushion covers are removable.

I’m a big fan of the Vera chair for its simple profile and warm walnut frame - it brings instant character without overwhelming a space. The neutral upholstered seat works equally well in mid-century schemes, contemporary Scandi rooms or more layered, eclectic interiors, so you’re not tied to one style.
For styling, position it beside a slim-legged side table and an arc floor lamp to create a cosy reading nook. Add a textured throw in a contrasting tone - say ochre or slate blue - and layer a small, patterned cushion to give depth. It also sits neatly alongside a light-wood coffee table or next to a low console without crowding the room.
