Price History

Description

The frame is unique on the Poppy chandelier as it forms the shape of a flower. This chandelier should be suspended in a position where you can admire the floral tribute. Hanging delicately from the chrome frame are swags of crystal glass droppers and buttons. This helps to make the Poppy chandelier our most feminine fitting. Poppy is a modern take on a chandelier, the fitting should be suspended high or in a position where the flower shape can be marvelled. We think that this would be a perfect addition to your bedroom where you can lie down and look at it's splendour.

Our Stylist Says

This pendant light is a great choice for adding a touch of glamour to various interiors thanks to its sleek chrome finish and elegant crystal drops. I love how versatile it is; it works particularly well in contemporary and transitional spaces, providing a sophisticated focal point. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral colour schemes to let the shine of the crystals stand out, or incorporate reflective surfaces nearby to enhance its sparkle. It’s also a smart move to hang it in areas like dining rooms or entryways where its statement appeal can be fully appreciated. Just ensure the height is adjusted appropriately to avoid glare and maximise its visual impact.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
