The maximum weight load for the Poppy Cabin frame is 120 kg. The maximum mattress height for the Poppy Cabin Bed is 18cm. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress. If your desired room of choice has a non carpeted surface please ensure that you use some form of anti-slip protection and do not place directly on the wooden floor. Please note that felt pads are not considered suitable anti-slip protection.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
