Description
Thin layers of oil and acrylic paint create a matte finish in sections of this original artwork, while thicker layers of paint in other areas give a high-gloss look. Bristol-based Jack Paffett often uses his surroundings as a starting point for his artworks, before allowing them to become mutated by spontaneous impulses on the canvas. Over-painted, erased and then reworked, his abstract pieces always show remnants of the layers that came before.
