This all time Zoffany classic has been repainted in a relaxed watercolour style. A hand drawn interpretation of an original document, its influences are thought to come from a late 19th century French artwork, painted to emulate earlier (17th to early 18th century) woven and embroidered textiles. Quirky and uplifting, Baroque-style scrolling foliage and stylised flowers give an overall effect that is rather grand, hence the name Pompadour. Digitally printed on a woven grasscloth. Shown here in shades of indigo blue on a cream white background. Display the Pompadour Print wallpaper in a bedroom, living room or dining room and bask in the modern feeling that this wallpaper exudes. This wallpaper is part of the Zoffany Cotswolds Manor wallpaper collection. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match: straight match. Vertical repeat: 61.3cm. This wallpaper is a wide-width wallpaper and you will require less rolls than a standard width wallpaper to decorate your room. Please consult a professional decorator for estimating.
I love the Pompadour print wallpaper in indigo blue for its timeless elegance and intricate detailing, which can add a touch of sophistication to various interiors. It works particularly well in classic or traditional spaces, but can also bring a refined contrast to contemporary schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral furniture to let the pattern stand out, or use it as a statement feature wall in a small room to create visual interest without overwhelming. Since it's a bold pattern, keep accessories simple and cohesive to maintain an balanced look. This wallpaper is versatile and can elevate living rooms, bedrooms, or even a sophisticated powder room with the right palette and furnishings.
