Description
Combining sturdy materials and geometric shapes, the Pole stool is inspired by brutalist architecture. With no unnecessary details, Pole emphasises simplicity and the quality of durable materials. It stands out for its minimalist yet distinctive expression. The solid round seat is made of solid pine. The base has an unconventional shape composed of an assembly of cylinders. Placed horizontally on the base, a small tube provides somewhere to rest your feet, serving as both a functional and decorative design element. “Creating a design with a simple but original form is always the biggest challenge in the design process. With Pole, I think we have succeeded in creating a solid piece of furniture, made of fine, durable materials, with a very recognisable expression”, explains designer Simon Legald.
