Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this oak C-shaped sit-stand table for its blend of mobility and clean-lined simplicity. The pneumatic lift lets you switch from seated to standing in seconds, making it ideal for compact flats, multi-use living rooms or anywhere you want a flexible work spot. It works especially well in Scandi, minimalist or contemporary interiors - just roll it under your sofa or bed when not in use. Styling tip: keep the surface clutter-free by using slim cable clips at the back and adding only a small desk lamp or a single ceramic pen pot. A tiny succulent or coaster helps anchor your laptop without overpowering the light oak finish, and the crisp white frame pairs neatly with neutral fabrics and pale woods.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
