Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this grey seat pad for its balance of comfort and clean lines - the plush tufting gives just enough softness without looking bulky, and the non-slip backing means it stays put on office or dining chairs. Its neutral tone makes it a natural fit in Scandi, contemporary or industrial schemes, and it layers effortlessly over wood, metal or acrylic seating. For a cohesive look, pair it with a pared-back desk setup - think a light oak table, a simple ceramic lamp and a small green plant. If you need extra cosiness, drape a woollen throw in a complementary shade over the chair back, or coordinate the pad with grey-toned cushions on a nearby sofa to tie the room together.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
