Description
The Plume table lamp is a unique piece that’s sure to catch the eye, with a fantastic feather shade offering a unique decorative edge to any decor. The brass tripod structure looks great as a bedside feature or in an eclectic living room décor, with the feather shade diffusing the light for a softer shine out across the surrounding area. This helps you to relax and unwind after a long day and makes this piece a brilliant dual purpose lamp, contributing to both the style and functionality of your interiors.
Our Stylist Says
I love the feather tripod lamp for its playful yet sophisticated silhouette, making it an excellent statement piece in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. Its brass finish adds a warm metallic touch that pairs well with neutral palettes or richer colours, providing a luxurious yet understated vibe. This lamp works beautifully on side tables, consoles, or even as a bedside highlight, especially in cosy living rooms or chic bedrooms. For styling tips, consider balancing its whimsical feather shade with minimalist furniture or layering with textured accessories to enhance its visual interest. Keep the colour palette simple and let this piece be the focal point, adding a touch of elegance and fun to your space.

About BHS.com
Historical Roots
British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.
Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.
Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!
Expansion and Evolution
BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.
They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
