Description

Plume Feather Tripod Floor Lamp, Rose Gold

Our Stylist Says

I love this feather-trimmed floor lamp for adding a touch of subtle glamour and softness to a variety of interiors. Its rose gold finish makes it a versatile statement piece that pairs well with contemporary, glam, or boutique-inspired schemes. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms, reading nooks, or bedrooms where you want to create a warm, inviting glow without overpowering the space. For styling tips, consider placing it beside a neutral sofa or a plush armchair to highlight its textural contrast, or use it as an accent in a corner to add height and visual interest. Pairing it with neutral or blush-toned furnishings will accentuate its delicate materials and colour, while keeping the overall look fresh and modern.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
