A material in its raw state… This block of Kunis Breccia stone and its solid lines are inspired by the bases and pedestals used over the centuries to showcase works of art. With this project, the Danish designer duo pay tribute to the natural beauty of stone, enhanced by the geometric purity of the shape. The Plinth Low coffee table is a bold centrepiece. This coffee table is composed of an internal structure, made with acacia wood and covered with genuine Kunis Breccia stone panels (thickness 2 cm). This hollow structure reduces the piece's weight.
I really like this plinth low coffee table because of its clean, minimalist look and versatile size, making it easy to incorporate into various interiors. Its stone beige finish adds an organic, timeless touch that works particularly well in neutral, Scandinavian, or contemporary schemes. And because of its substantial form, it can be styled with a mix of sculptural accessories, books, or even used as a platform for decorative objects. For a layered look, consider pairing it with textured textiles or soft furnishings to soften the natural stone vibe, or place it in a space that benefits from a robust focal point without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. It's practical too - its size makes it ideal for both casual and more formal living rooms.
