The Range
Plat 1 Light Dome Ceiling Pendant - Black
£139 £121
Price History
Description
The pendant has a flat, slim plate directly above the suspended lamp. The fitting is available in black or white finishes, making it a match for almost any colour scheme. The fitting is unobtrusive, while providing plenty of light and allowing it to shine and spread in all directions around the room. The plate reduces the risk of a light glare above the fitting. Class two.
Our Stylist Says
I love this light dome pendant for its simple yet versatile design, making it a great option for modern or minimalist interiors. Its black finish adds a touch of sophistication and works particularly well in contemporary, industrial, or eclectic spaces. For styling, consider hanging it over a kitchen island or dining table to create a focal point, or use a few in a row for symmetry. Practical tips include pairing it with warm-toned bulbs for cosy ambient lighting, and keeping the ceiling height in mind - it’s best suited to rooms with higher ceilings to let it make an impact without feeling overwhelming. Overall, it’s a sleek, functional piece that can elevate a wide range of interior styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
