Originally designed by Paul Mc Cobb in 1949 and crafted by esteemed furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen, the small Planner Shelving Unit is named for its ability to help shape a room's design. The shelving unit looks particularly striking when adorned with books, plants and decorative accessories. Inspired by the influential Bauhaus school, the shelving unit features a strikingly minimalist frame crafted from durable powder-coated steel that has been hand-welded with rounded corners. The design is finished with oak veneer shelves with bevelled edges. Features a black powder-coated steel frame. Self-taught American designer Paul Mc Cobb combined slim lines with simplicity of form to create an unrivalled sense of lightness in each piece he created. Every piece in his collection reflects his realist and perfectionist nature to strike the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetic.
