Description
The Classic Blackout Roller Blinds are just what you need to block any light from coming into your bedroom. If you're trying to get an early night when its still light outside, these blinds will shroud your room in darkness, so you can sleep easy. Coming in an array of colours and easy to install, these will also help cheer up your room when they're not in use.
Our Stylist Says
I love the plain blackout roller blind in slate blue for its versatile and modern appeal. It’s great for creating a calm, contemporary look in bedrooms or living rooms, especially when paired with neutral or contrasting colour schemes. The darkness of the blackout fabric makes it ideal for bedrooms or media rooms where light control is essential. Styling tips include combining it with textured fabrics or metallic accents for added interest, or keeping the surrounding decor simple to let the blind stand out as a feature. It also works well in spaces that benefit from a clean, streamlined aesthetic and can seamlessly fit into both minimalist and more layered interior styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
