Designer and architect Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) embodied modernity and avant-garde throughout the 20th century... This metal table lamp is a reissue of the original model designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1962. Le Corbusier’s colleague favours simplicity and usability over luxury. Very innovative for its time, this metal lamp with a rotating lampshade has lost none of its modernity. It consists of a cylindrical body open on two sides in which two movable screens pivot, allowing the light to be directed and its intensity adjusted. The beam of light is more or less wide depending on the opening of the screens, the bulb more or less visible. Fifty years after its creation, this adjustable light is perfectly adapted to the needs of modern life. Its simple lines are timeless and classic. Finally reissued, this design classic at a reasonable price is a must-have for all design and architecture fans.
