Price History
Description
The white Pivotante À Poser Table Lamp was designed exclusively for Nemo by Parisian architect and designer Charlotte Perriand. Crafted from steel and aluminium, the lamp's light source is sheltered between two adjustable shutters to cater exactly to your lighting needs. It's also available at The Conran Shop in yellow and blue finishes. Charlotte Perriand is one of the most influential furniture designers of the early modern movement. Her design prowess was initially overlooked and Perriand was even refused a job at Le Corbusier's studio. It was only when she exhibited her innovative 'Bar in the Attic' installation that she was able to convince Le Corbusier of her talent, resulting in an offer of a position at his studio. Requires: 1x E27 A60 Max 60W bulb (not included)
Our Stylist Says
I love this little white lamp for its sleek, minimalist design that suits both modern and contemporary interiors. Its sculptural form adds an understated yet stylish touch, making it a versatile piece for bedside tables, desks, or shelves. It works particularly well in neutral or monochrome schemes, but it can also serve as a striking contrast in more colourful settings. For practical styling, consider positioning it alongside textured accessories or layered with other lighting sources to create ambient warmth. Its clean lines make it an easy addition to pared-back spaces, while its subtle glow can help evoke a cosy, inviting atmosphere.
