Description

Pira G2 shelving system F C B Black/Walnut 248–255 cm from Swedish Pira is an exclusive shelving system with a core design by Olle Pira from 1954, reimagined in a new and modern edition thanks to several contemporary designers such as architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström. The new design of the Pira system strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The shelving system features a frame made of finely textured powder-coated aluminum and consists of two 70 cm sections and one 90 cm section with a total of 12 shelves, completed with three cabinets, one organizer, and four bookends in walnut wood. With its floor and ceiling mounting, Pira G2 shelving system F C B Black/Walnut 248–255 cm is a design piece that is easy to install and can be adapted to the specific space as needed, creating a timeless and elegant feel in all types of rooms.

Our Stylist Says

The Pira Pira G2 shelving system is a highly versatile piece that seamlessly blends functionality with modern design. I love its clean lines and the contrasting black and walnut finish, making it a great statement piece in contemporary or Scandinavian interiors. It works particularly well in open-plan living rooms, home offices, or even kitchens where a blend of display and storage is needed. When styling, consider grouping books, plants, or decorative objects in varying heights to add visual interest. The sliding walnut cabinets are perfect for hiding clutter, while the open shelving invites personalised displays. For a balanced look, keep a mix of textures and colours, and don’t be afraid to layer items - this will give your space a curated, yet lived-in feel.
