This chair belongs to the range of the popular PIP-e armchairs designed by famous Philippe Starck. PIP-e is a simply elegant and functional chair. Philippe Starck takes up the lines of the Dick Deck wooden chair he created for Driade in 1987 and makes an updated version by employing new technologies. It is a real technological feat: this polypropylene monobloc consists of tubes that have been created by a process of emptying the tubes it consists of through gas assisted injection. The latter allows injecting gas into the legs of the chair to make it lightweight (less than 5 kg). The ribs that the structure is made of bring visual lightness. Available in four colours: white, orange, yellow, grey.
I love the PIP-e stackable chair for its clean lines and versatile design, making it a practical addition to a variety of interiors. Its sleek, minimalist aesthetic works well in contemporary or casual dining spaces, especially where functionality and easy storage are priorities. The fact that these can be stacked adds a real edge for multi-purpose settings or smaller spaces. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with a modern glass or wooden table for a fresh look, or use colourful cushions for added comfort and visual interest in a more eclectic or relaxed setting. It’s a smart choice for any space needing adaptable, low-maintenance seating with a crisp, modern vibe.
