Its low profile keeps the room feeling open, while the front-panel doors hide clutter (AV boxes, games consoles and cables) without interrupting that streamlined look.
Styling tip: layer a slim media bar under a wall-hung TV and flank it with a couple of low stacks of books or a sculptural vase for height variation.
