We partnered with Greek visual artist Leonie Yagdjoglou, to create three custom colors of her Peoplakia vases. The name Peoplakia is a combination of the English word “people” and the Greek diminutive suffix “—aki” which means “little, small”, but also “cute” and “lovable”. The series is born to tease about the lack of any meaningful communication people have these days. Peoplakia talk in order to hear themselves talking. they chat about everything whilst always concealing what they really think. This is reflected in the rich strokes, swirling around the vase, with no definitive path.
I love this pink and purple blush vase because of its bold colour combination and contemporary design, which can effortlessly elevate a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in modern and eclectic spaces, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the decor. For styling tips, consider pairing it with fresh or dried flowers in complementary colours to enhance its visual appeal, or use it as a standalone statement piece on shelves or sideboards. Its unique shape and colour palette make it versatile enough to work as both a functional and decorative item, especially when grouped with other textured ceramics or mixed materials for a layered look.
