Price History
Description
Nothing says class, sophistication and smooth comfort quite like velvet, and the Pin Tufted Transitional futon is the ultimate in style! The design itself is stunning. It combines thick cushioning with tufted velvet, sleek arms, tapered wooden legs, and a vintage look that takes you back to the bold and luxurious days of the 1950s.
Our Stylist Says
I love this blue velvet sofabed for its classic yet contemporary feel. The pin tufting offers timeless elegance, while the transitional style makes it versatile across various interiors, from modern to traditional. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms, guest rooms, or even small flats where space-saving furniture is key. Styling hints include pairing it with neutral or patterned cushions and a textured throw to soften the look. For practical purposes, it's ideal for creating a chic sitting area that can easily turn into a guest bed, making it a functional focal point in any room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
