The newest design to emerge from the ongoing collaboration between British design duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and Knoll, this Pilot Ottoman is intended to accompany the Pilot Chair, and exemplifies refined craftsmanship and comfort, with a slim profile that suits living and workspaces alike. Featuring a cast-aluminium structure in a charcoal-painted finish that links ottoman's base to the foot pad, the cantilevered pad appears to almost float and is completely flexible and adjustable to the sitter's preferences. Barber and Osgerby explain, Our new Pilot [collection] not only responds to today's needs, but also offers an elegant, innovative design for a different culture. The Pilot Ottoman's frame offers more space when sitting and allows the piece to flex gently, while its padding ergonomically fits to the shape of the sitter, resulting in optimum comfort.
