Our Stylist Says
I love this pendant for its versatile, modern design and eco-friendly functionality. Its 37cm diameter makes it a clever choice for both outdoor seating areas and indoor spaces with high ceilings, such as kitchens or open-plan lounges. Its black finish adds a contemporary edge that pairs well with industrial, minimalist, or pared-back interiors, while the solar aspect keeps things practical and low-maintenance. For styling tips, I recommend hanging it over outdoor dining tables or in a covered porch to create a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. Inside, it works beautifully in kitchens or breakfast nooks, where it can blend seamlessly with a neutral palette or add a statement to more muted tones. Its solar feature also makes it a smart choice for spaces without direct wiring, making installation straightforward and clutter-free.

About La Redoute
A Legacy of French Fashion
La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.
They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".
Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness
La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.
As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.
Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.
Championing Social Responsibility
Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.
They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
