Renowned British architect David Chipperfield set himself the task of thinking about the evolution of the traditional Folding chair. With Piana, the challenge was to create a product for which countless versions already exist. Using a contemporary vocabulary, Chipperfield was able to capture the essence of this popular archetype, while focusing on its technical requirements. The minimalist Piana Chair is elegant, comfortable and extremely sturdy.
