Price History
Description
Concave 10 pendant lamp by Pholc is made of anodised aluminium and combines sculptural forms with industrial details. The lamp provides two types of light at the same time. From the cylindrical base, a directed light falls down towards the table, so you can see well when eating, reading or cooking, and because the light fades softly towards the edges there are no sharp shadows. At the same time, the square top with concave curves guides light upwards towards the ceiling and creates a soft glow around the lamp, making the room feel more cosy and inviting. The satin-matt surface catches the light and gives a gentle glow instead of dazzling reflections. The pendant is compact and designed to hang several in a row, for example over the dining table or kitchen island, and suits both large and small rooms. Concave is Pholc’s first collaboration with the Scottish-Swedish designer Nick Ross and the first lamps he has created. The pendant is dimmable with a dimmable light source.
