Description

One of the highest quality finishes, the Phoenix wooden Ottoman bed provides both class and practicality, with an opening base that provides plenty of storage. The bed is available in pearl grey, stone grey, oak or white. Constructed from solid rubberwood, the oak option has MDF veneered side rails whereas the white option features MDF Melamine side rails. This frame has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort. The gas piston strength on this frame is 588 N. The maximum weight load for the Phoenix Ottoman frame is 350 kg and can support mattresses up to the weight of 45 kg. Please note the mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work. Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 203 mm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this grey ottoman bed for its sleek, contemporary look and practical storage benefits. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, where it adds functionality without compromising style. The neutral grey colour makes it versatile enough to blend with various colour schemes, from monochrome schemes to soft pastels. For styling tips, consider pairing it with crisp linens and simple bedding to keep the space cohesive, or introduce textured cushions to add some visual interest. Its under-bed storage makes it ideal for clutter-prone rooms, and stacking it with a cosy throw and a few decorative boxes can create a clutter-free sanctuary. Overall, it's a smart choice for bedrooms needing smarter storage solutions.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
