Petro Iridescent 5 Light Diner Pendant Bar, Chrome

Our Stylist Says

This pendant bar is a fantastic choice for adding a sleek, contemporary touch to your space. The iridescent finish gives it a subtle shimmer that works well with modern, minimalist interiors, while the chrome accents keep it looking crisp and clean. It’s ideal for a kitchen island or dining area, providing functional lighting with a stylish edge. When styling, consider hanging it at different heights to create visual interest and optimise task lighting. Pair it with neutral tones or monochrome palettes to let the iridescent finish stand out, or combine it with other chrome accents for a cohesive, polished look. It's a versatile piece that blends practicality with visual impact, making it a smart pick for upgrading modern interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
