Description

Elevate your lighting with the Petrice Touch Table Lamp with Glass Shade in Black Nickel. This stylish lamp features a sleek, touch-sensitive black nickel base and a sophisticated mink glass shade, offering both convenience and style. The warm glow it provides enhances any room, from home offices to living rooms, while its vintage-inspired design adds an elegant touch.

Our Stylist Says

I love this table lamp for its sleek combination of a glass shade and black nickel finish, which gives it a contemporary yet sophisticated look. It works particularly well in modern and minimalist interiors, adding a soft ambient glow without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, consider placing it on a side table or a console to create a focal point, and pair it with other metallic accents for a cohesive aesthetic. Its neutral tones also mean it layers beautifully with various colour palettes, making it a versatile addition to living rooms, bedrooms or even office spaces.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
