Description

Sink into a sea of comfort with these super-soft Egyptian cotton flat sheets with a percale finish. Featuring four rows of stitched cording, they offer effortless style to your decor. Available in neutral shades to suit many bedroom themes. Introduce a bright cushion or textured throw to add colour and character to your setting. Egyptian cotton is celebrated for its superior strength, durability and exquisite comfort, and we've worked hard to source the very best for this range. At Peter Reed everything is made in England at their own factory in Lancashire, where they have been since 1861. As part of their Royal Warrant application they go through strict protocols for sustainability and are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. Everything's made to order so there is very little manufacturing or power waste.

Our Stylist Says

These sheets are a great choice for adding a touch of understated luxury to a bedroom. I love the crisp, clean look they offer, especially in neutral or minimalist interiors. The Egyptian cotton ensures a soft, breathable feel that’s perfect for those who value comfort and quality. They work well with both contemporary and classic schemes; try pairing them with textured bedding or muted tones for a sleek, sophisticated vibe. For practical styling tips, keep the sheets crisp and well-pressed to highlight their smooth finish, and consider layering with textured throws or cushions to add depth to your bed presentation.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
