Description
The Pepe pattern was created by famous Finnish textile designer Maija Isola in 1970. This playful pattern depicts two parrots in conversation on a tree branch. Covering an astonishingly large range of patterns and design techniques, Maija Isola's work is inspired from traditional pop art, modern visual arts, nature, and her numerous travels around the world. Cheerful, chic and graphic, the cushion cover collection by Marimekko brings your interior to life! Their original patterns blend together wonderfully. Created in 1951, Marimekko is a state of mind, a way of life based on creativity, freedom of spirit and inventiveness. Its notoriety dates back to 1960, the year in which Jackie Kennedy made several public appearances in dresses designed by Marimekko. The brand went on to enjoy enormous success, which continues today with a range of clothing and decorative accessories in vibrant colours, for a house full of inspiration!
