I’m a big fan of this oak chest of drawers for its clean, simple lines and warm, natural finish. It works equally well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired rooms, adding texture without overwhelming lighter palettes. The metal handles give it a modern edge, so it doesn’t look too traditional.
For styling, keep the top clear or add just one statement lamp and a small plant to avoid clutter. In a bedroom you could perch a round mirror above and use the drawers for linen or off-season clothes; in a hallway it’s perfect for keys, mail trays and a shallow bowl for loose change.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
