Description
The Empoli collection was created in response to the wishes and dreams of customers looking for modern and compact lighting in their homes. The hanging lamps in this series combine exceptional elegance, minimalist design and functionality, which make them extremely popular with customers. Very slim design with beautifully crafted shades and discreet mounting are ideal for those looking for stylish lighting in a trendy dining room, kitchen or living room.
Our Stylist Says
I love this pendant lamp for its understated yet modern appeal. Its minimalist shape and soft grey finish make it a versatile choice that can complement a range of interiors, from contemporary kitchens to cosy dining areas. It works particularly well in spaces with neutral or monochrome palettes, adding a touch of subtle sophistication. For styling tips, consider hanging a pair over a kitchen island or breakfast bar to create symmetry; for a softer look, pair it with warm filament bulbs. It’s a practical piece that delivers not just illumination but a clean, elegant aesthetic to any room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
