I’m a fan of this dark-blue Pembridge bed for its clean lines and versatile finish - the deep hue adds drama without overwhelming a room. It sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired scheme (pair with pale woods and linen bedding) or a more traditional setting (think matt brass lamps and a patterned rug).
For styling, keep bedding light to contrast the frame, then introduce one or two accent colours via cushions or a throw - soft ochre or muted terracotta work nicely. A simple sconce on either side and a small natural-wood bedside table will complete the look, keeping focus on the bed’s panelling and rich paint finish.
