Description
A wonderful material - The Pawn collection of side tables by Marie Michielssen is an eclectic set of geometric figures, materials and colours. This paired-down cylinder is made from enamelled terracotta. This natural, smooth and tactile material, has both a tactile and visual appeal. The geometric purity of the compact form is enhanced by the warm material and the velvet-like finish. The different tables from the Pawn collection can be combined in order to form a graphical set.

I love this round terracotta coffee table for its bold colour and sculptural shape, making it a real statement piece. Its size is practical for small or medium living rooms, offering enough surface space without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors, especially those with earthy tones or a warm colour palette, but it can also add a nice pop of colour to minimalist or industrial spaces. Styling-wise, I would suggest pairing it with natural fibres like jute or linen, and adding layered textures through cushions or throws to create a cosy, inviting vibe. It’s versatile enough to hold a stack of books or a small tray of plants and accessories, making it both functional and aesthetic.
