With Patio, a new icon of French industrial furniture was born… Combining her creativity with Tolix's know-how, young French designer Pauline Deltour has become the first female designer for Tolix. Her range of outdoor furniture in stainless steel reflects Tolix’s taste for straightforward, functional, conspicuous models. Patio furniture offers fluid, refined forms. In this project, every detail counts: the lines are straightforward, the forms balanced. Solid and thin, full or laminated sheet metal. With its wire-like forms, stainless steel as resistant as it is poetic and ethereal, like calligraphy. From the first prototypes, Pauline observes, tests and readjusts until she finds perfection. Alongside the Tolix technicians, she finally finds the right equation to offer designer furniture, balanced, timeless and easy to live with, produced in the Tolix factory in Autun, Burgundy. Mix the versions, dare to match acid colours or play on shades and tones. PATIO is the freedom to create your own world! Light, stackable and hard-wearing, it was designed for you. So you can fully enjoy life without worrying about the rest. Very ethereal, this Patio armchair is made of steel slats which emphasise solid and empty spaces. Its dimensions and solidity make it particularly suitable for intensive use such as in the hotel and restaurant sector. The Patio collection is perfectly suited to outdoor use thanks to its stainless-steel manufacture that’s 100% recyclable. This material offers perfect resistance to corrosion, even in difficult environments (seafront, swimming pool etc). The entire Patio collection is made in France in the only TOLIX factory in Burgundy.
I love this stackable aluminium chair for its minimalist, functional design and versatility. The sleek stainless steel lends a modern, industrial edge that works well in contemporary, outdoor, or even pared-back urban interiors. Its stackability makes it practical for flexible dining arrangements or when storage space is limited. Style-wise, it pairs beautifully with natural textures-think wood or stone surfaces-and adds a touch of subtle sophistication without overpowering a space. For a polished look, try pairing it with neutral textiles or colourful cushions to soften the metal and add comfort. It’s equally at home in a city balcony or a stylish restaurant setting, making it a clever choice for both aesthetic appeal and practical use.
