Moreover, the tabletop is crafted with premium marble-powdered PVC material, which is not only sturdy and durable, but also safe and healthy. And the frame is constructed of high-strength powder-coated metal tubes, which are not easy to rust, peel, or chip. Other than that, the dining table is designed with a built-in umbrella hole and an umbrella fixing hole, which fits umbrella poles less than 42 mm. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
