The Passepartout JH10 from the Danish brand &Tradition is the creation of Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. The Passepartout is a modern wall-mounted spotlight lamp with a simple and straightforward aesthetic that makes it a seamless match for the hallway, office, or any space you please. The lamp was originally designed to create a modern and decorative light fixture that would fit well in all sorts of environments but would still stand out a bit more prominently that an ordinary spotlight. The idea was to create a piece that felt like a natural fit within the space but also accented the details around it. Thus the name “Passepartout” was born, evoking the idea of a photo inside a frame that really serves to highlight the scene.
